Science fiction has always pushed the boundaries of our imagination. However, despite the popularity of the genre, some of the greatest works in science fiction have remained largely overlooked and underrated. Here, we present a list of four seriously underrated science fiction books of all time.

- Neal Stephenson’s book “Snow Crash” imagines a day in the future where the Internet and virtual reality are one and the same. The world is in danger of collapsing due to a mysterious hacker going by the name of Snow Crash.
- Ursula K. Le Guin’s “The Dispossessed,” a tale of two worlds, one a utopia and the other a dystopia, follows the journey of a scientist who must navigate both in order to find a solution to a global crisis.
- “The Diamond Age” by Neal Stephenson is set in a future in which nanotechnology is employed to instantly produce real objects. The narrative centres on a little girl whose life is changed by a miraculous book that she receives.
